To Colin Smith and his team, who have produced "Katchet" fielding boards - you have brought the old slips cradle back into vogue with a much more portable and effective device. I was first introduced to the device during our recent ashes tour. Since that time, we have used the boards extensively with the Australian Cricket Team.
We have been able to use these on all surfaces and have found them to work well anywhere. The players have responded very well to the drills we use.
As a coach who is on the road for many months of the year, the "Katchet" cricket board is a welcome addition as it is light, durable and easily transportable.
I believe it will be a welcome addition to any team or club's coaching equipment.
